The depicted icon is inspired by Chatchawal Wiangchai Tower, the ship-guiding lighthouse of Hat Ban Laem Beach for local fishermen. On 12 November 1861, His Majesty King Mongkut the Great (King Rama IV) visited this place to observe an astronomical phenomenon – the trajectory of Mercury in the heliocentric orbit.
