King Narai National Museum

The image on this bench, “Poy Sian”, was inspired by the symbol of the 100th anniversary of the National Museum of King Narai.

The National Museum of King Narai was founded in 1924 during the reign of King Rama VI. It was originally called the “Lopburi Museum” by His Royal Highness Prince Damrong Rajanubhab.And His Royal Highness Prince Narisara Nuvadtivongse thought that the area of ​​Lopburi and nearby areas had many scattered antiquities, so he assigned Professor Georges Coedes A French scholar established a museum using the area of ​​the Chandraphisan Throne Hall in the Narai Ratchaniwet Palace for exhibitions.

In 2024, the Somdej Phra Narai National Museum celebrated its 100th anniversary and proudly entered its second century.
